Botox/Dysport
Introduction to Neuromodulators (ie. Botox Cosmetic® and Dysport®)
Neurmodulators have been in use for over 19 years treating a variety of medical conditions. In 2001, Health Canada approved Botox Cosmetic® for wrinkle therapy and in 2017 Dysport® was approved. Neuromodulators are indicated for cosmetic purposes such as facial wrinkling. More specifically, for frown lines (between the eyebrows), forehead lines (horizontal lines on your forehead) and Crow’s feet (lines around the outer eyes).

Presently the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC) require all Botox patients treated to be a “patient of record” at the dental practice.
